Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 10, reveals that Hope Brady (Kristina Alfonso) met up with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) at the pub.

After Steve took off for a meeting with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), Hope voiced concerns about “so-called” Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer).

Hope had an idea and got in touch with Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), who was working with both the Navy SEALs and the ISA now.

Once Harris scored the contact info for Doug III’s father, Hope was able to confirm that his story was true and that he was indeed Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) grandson.

Even so, Hope remained suspicious of Doug III’s agenda.

At the Horton house on Tuesday’s Days episode, Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) told Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) about the necklace theft and the family’s fears about Steven Olson (Stephen Schnetzer) being the culprit.

Julie just couldn’t believe that was true – and in flashbacks, DOOL fans watched Doug III steal the necklace instead.

Even if Steven had left Julie down, Doug assured that she could always count on him and pulled her into a hug.

Hope witnessed that embrace and raised an eyebrow, but she was nice enough to Doug later.

However, Hope quickly turned a bit menacing as she delivered a threat.

Although Hope had to get back to Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) in Europe, she made it clear that she was very protective of Julie.

If Hope found out Doug did anything to hurt Julie while she was gone, she said she’d be back – and next time, she wouldn’t be so friendly.

In the town square on Tuesday’s Days episode, Jack worried to reassure Jennifer about JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) plan.

That said, Jack was worried too deep down, so he opened up to Steve and received some big news.

Steve got his ISA contacts to help narrow down the search for Clyde Weston (James Read) in Vancouver, so he was able to find out an apartment number.

Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, JJ woke up with Gabi Hernandez’s (Cherie Jimenez) arm on his chest.

Gabi stirred awake and got embarrassed, but JJ playfully teased her about how she was always a cuddler in bed.

Talk turned to Gabi’s heartbreak over Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash), but JJ thought Gabi deserved far better.

After a note was slipped under the door, JJ read that Clyde wanted Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) delivered to the backroom of the Pink Kitten Club at 10:00 a.m. sharp.

Meanwhile, Cat cried out in her sleep as she tossed and turned.

Chad woke Cat up from her nightmare over Catharina Greene’s (Susan Elena Matus) demise and hugged her as she sobbed.

Cat was apologetic for leaning on Chad considering their history.

Things took another tense turn later, so Cat blurted out that she still had feelings for Chad even though she didn’t want them.

Cat knew Chad was going to hate her forever, but she assured him that she wanted to help find Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) remains.

JJ and Gabi showed up at the door, so they offered updates on Clyde’s latest instructions.

After Steve called Chad with Clyde’s apartment number, a new plan formed.

It was decided that Chad and Cat would stall Clyde at the club’s backroom while JJ and Gabi searched the apartment.

The goal was for Gabi and JJ to find info on Abigail’s remains and Cat’s mother before they called the cops.

Once JJ and Gabi broke in the apartment, they began rummaging around.

Gabi helped JJ guess that Clyde’s laptop password was “Nancy,” so JJ got in and planned to access Clyde’s text messages from there.

Unfortunately, Clyde showed up with his gun drawn and left Gabi looking terrified. JJ ultimately realized they were in a very dangerous situation.

Back with Chad, he took Cat to the club’s backroom and held her at gunpoint so this fake handoff would look convincing.

Suddenly, someone came through the door pointing a gun as well, so Cat was left reeling when she realized it was her mom!
