Jamie Dutton may spend most of the series trying to evade his sister Beth, but Yellowstone fans are convinced he has another sworn enemy a

little closer to home.

Yellowstone fans may have unveiled a surprise character who may also be plotting Jamie Dutton’s (played by Wes Bentley) downfall.

Throughout the series, Jamie has been the black sheep of the Dutton family and constantly at odds with her sister Beth (Kelly Reilly).

Their intense feud stems from an incident from their teenage years, when a young Beth became pregnant and asked Jamie for help out of desperation.

In his panic, Jamie took her to a Native American clinic for an abortion which, unknown to Beth, would also leave her sterilised.

Following their father John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) assassination in the latest season, Beth is convinced Jamie was behind the hit and vows to destroy him for it.

But, could she already have a secret ally who also wants to see Jamie get put down a peg and happens to see him nearly every day?

One fan recently realised Jamie’s secretary Kate (Maria Julian) is constantly letting Beth waltz into his office without warning, despite the fact she should know all about their toxic relationship by now.

“We’re just glossing over how Jamie’s assistant clearly has it [in] for him?” they said on Reddit.

“I’m on season four and I just watched Jamie walk into his office after his assistant cryptically announces he has a visitor. But jump scare the visitor is Beth here to beat the absolute s*** out of him.

“This is like the 20th time I’ve observed this bait and switch involving Beth and the assistant???”

Beth appears seemingly out of nowhere in Jamie’s office several times throughout the series and is almost certainly heard shouting and even attacking him from the next room.

The same thing has happened as recently as season five following their father’s death and Kate apparently has no issues with Jamie’s furious sister slapping his boss around the face and accusing him of murdering a major politician.

“I’m convinced the assistant has it [in] for Jamie just as much as Beth,” the post continued.

“No way she doesn’t recognise Beth at this point, and if I was Jamie I would have considered a while ago asking my assistant to forewarn me if my insane, homicidal (I say this with love I Stan how crazy and mean Beth is) sister shows up.

“I’m open to other thoughts but this pattern is just tearing me up.”

Several other fans agreed Jamie’s secretary must not think too highly of him, with someone commenting: “She always waits till the last second to tell him too… oh, btw, your maniac sister is trapped in your office.”

And another replied: “The door was open when Beth confronted him and Kayce (Luke Grimes) [dragged] her into Jamie’s office with him. She probably keeps a bag of popcorn in her pocket to snack and watch at this point!”

Could Jamie’s secretary team up with Beth to take him down or is she just there to watch the drama unfold?
