he hasn’t yet uncovered Carter’s entire scheme. Ridge still considers Carter a trusted friend, and Carter sees this as his last chance to deceive Ridge and convince him that the signature was merely

a mistake. He’s determined to smooth things over and secure Ridge and Steffy’s signatures, ultimately completing his takeover plan.

However, a shocking twist unfolds at the cabin. Brooke, who hasn’t left, overhears Carter discussing the scheme. Horrified, she realizes that Carter intends to steal the company and that her daughter Hope is involved in this plot. Brooke is stunned by the lengths Carter and Hope are willing to go and decides she has to act. She confronts Carter and Hope, demanding that they abandon their plan. When it becomes clear that they won’t back down, Brooke knows she can’t let them take over Forrester Creations and rushes to tell Ridge before it’s too late.

According to spoilers, Ridge is devastated when Brooke reveals the entire scheme. Feeling betrayed by someone he once saw as family, he quickly calls Chief Baker to have Carter arrested. But it might be too late—Carter has already become the official manager of Forrester Creations.
