Emmerdale has released a new official trailer teasing the downfall of villain Tom King, ahead of this week’s dramatic episodes.
It has already been confirmed that this week marks a turning point in Tom and Belle Dingle’s domestic abuse storyline, as Tom’s nasty behaviour finally looks set to be
exposed to more villagers.
The trailer begins with a first look at some dark scenes which see Tom breaking into Charity Dingle’s home, where he spies on Belle in her bathrobe before stealing one of her tops.

“Do you really think the police would believe Belle’s word over mine?” Tom asks in the clip. “All they have to do is ask Amelia how I treat her – which is like the perfect gentleman.”
However, the trailer makes it very clear that Tom is treating his new girlfriend Amelia Spencer aggressively, as he is seen dragging her out of her house while she tells him that he is hurting her.
The clip ends with some fast cuts of Tom angrily pinning Belle against a car, while concerned Charity and Cain Dingle drive to find Belle – and two cars are briefly seen speeding towards each other along a country road.
There is also a brief clip of two police officers in a questioning room, confirming that Tom will be having more dealings with the police.

Will Tom finally face justice, or is there more to come?
Amelia star Daisy Campbell has teased that her character’s “memorable” exit will be tied up in the Tom storyline, revealing that she was “crying a lot” during her final scenes.
“It’s also probably one of the most memorable things I’ve filmed,” she said. “I love the way Amelia leaves. I left those final scenes feeling happy with what we’ve done. Amelia exits putting herself first, and finally doing what’s right for her and (daughter) Esther.”
Emmerdale has confirmed that Belle and Tom’s coercive control story will conclude with a special one-hour episode in December, which will also share the real stories of domestic abuse victims and survivors.
