Emmerdale will air tension for Marlon Dingle and his daughter April Windsor over Christmas, as April’s behaviour continues to spiral in a worrying way.
April faced a terrifying ordeal last week when she was kidnapped by nasty new villain Jade, resulting in her almost losing her life.
Although Ross Barton stepped in to help save April, he dealt her a further blow when he told her the full truth about her mum Donna’s death back in 2014, with Donna having been killed when she fell from the roof of the same car park that April was held hostage at.
As Christmas week dawns in the village, Marlon and April’s relationship is in a dire state as April continues to struggle with what she’s learned about her mum.
As April pushes the boundaries further and further, Marlon is shocked when he finds out that the teen has been trying to buy cannabis.
But when he confronts his daughter, things get even worse and April starts to spiral out of control in front of the whole family.

When Christmas Day arrives, Marlon receives yet another big shock as the day turns out to be anything but peaceful.
Will Marlon and April be able to mend their relationship, or is April’s behaviour going to cause lasting damage?
This week’s episodes have seen Ross involved in a battle against Marlon, Charity Dingle and Caleb Miligan, after the trio teamed up to try to push him out of the village.
Unfortunately for them, Ross managed to outsmart them and gloated that he’d be sticking around.
